065 - Making Room for the Work and Life We Want

After returning from VidSummit in Dallas, I came down with the flu and spent several days dealing with very little energy and a lot of brain fog. As I started feeling better, I found myself questioning some of the work I had been so excited to get back to.

I had built systems that could help me get more done. But looking at the things I was falling behind on brought up another question: Do I actually want to do this work?

During this walk, Stephanie and I talk about what deserves our energy as we return to our work. I share what I’m learning from looking back at my favorite coaching relationships, how those clients found me, and the impact of our work together.

Stephanie shares some of her own questions as she prepares for a speaking opportunity, revisits an older coaching application, and considers new ways to use material from Thriving Mosaic. We also talk about staying connected with our adult children and making room for those spontaneous conversations, even when there’s work waiting to be done.
