836 - Come Along for a Walk. We Have a Lot to Catch Up On.
It's been a month since my last episode of The Cliff Ravenscraft Show, and quite a bit has happened.
Today, I'm doing something I haven't done in a while. I'm recording this episode while walking through my neighborhood on a beautiful fall day in Northern Kentucky.
An email I received this morning from Rich Litvin reminded me how much I've always enjoyed simply sharing what's happening in my life, what I'm experiencing, what I'm thinking about, and how I'm processing things along the way.
In this episode, I share some of what's happened over the past month, including:
- The incredible amount of content I created during the week before leaving for VidSummit.
- The progress I've made using AI to build systems for managing relationships and reconnecting with people from my past.
- A new business model I've been exploring for Podcast Answer Man and the excitement of getting my first yes.
- Why I decided to attend VidSummit in Dallas.
- What it felt like to be surrounded by YouTube creators and find myself questioning whether I belonged there.
- The moment I seriously considered leaving VidSummit early and why I'm grateful I stayed.
- Reconnecting with longtime friends and making meaningful new connections.
- How I'm using the Plaud Note Pro, Blinq, and AI to manage relationships that begin at conferences.
- Returning home from Dallas exhausted and then spending an extended period recovering from illness.
- How being sick affected my confidence and caused me to reconsider some of the momentum I'd been building.
- A significant shift in how I'm thinking about my professional identity, who I most want to serve, and the work I want to do moving forward.
- Why I've missed recording these spontaneous, personal episodes.
There's plenty more in the conversation, but that's a good idea of what you'll hear.
Thanks for coming along with me on this walk.
